Hi All,
Wednesday looks a bit iffy with rain and some wind. We’ll see what the gods present for us. Welcome back Witchy Woman. Good to see yet another boat in the fleet.
Rum Runners are travelling well with a good crowd and interesting veranda comments and “how to sail” statements. So, it has been decided for the last sail of the summer season that the veranda crowd will be asked to crew on the boats so that the sailing will even out to be more interesting. I wonder who will even turn up??
Also with this Friday being the last of the Summer Series of the Rum Runners, the MYC has decided to hold another OPEN club evening where the ongoing workings of the MYC are explained. There are many different areas of the MYC that a lot of members are not familiar with and this evening explains all. Also this is where we ask you to ‘bring a friend’ in that they may be interested in the club activities. With the verandah inclusion in the sailing that afternoon, it is the perfect opportunity for your friend to be introduced to one of the many club activities. And this Friday, ” ITS FREE”.
Keep in mind the 16th April for an interesting evening. The MYC is hosting a presentation on DNA findings whereas with a total of some 600+ tests, you can find out foods suitable to eat, weight loss, health etc. A whole range of new and never before info to be available.
Cheers Stevo
