The MYC clubroom has been busy on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings since the allowing of 10 diners to enjoy take-away meals from Rice Boi restaurant, with double seatings becoming the norm (4-6pm and 6-8pm). Remember to book your table with Gary Schulz (0488 077 011), sign in at the door and order a meal from Rice Boi. (Please stay home if unwell). Not too much to ask EH !!
The MYC signage is on the dock boxes and we are now preparing ourselves for a major presentation by MYC to the Wharf Complex.
MYC has had stored in a member’s shed a gaff rigged VJ sailing dinghy. This dinghy is vintage in every way and we have put a proposal to Wharf management to have it hung in the open aired area as an attraction to the Wharf, reflecting the complex’s connection with the water.
The dinghy will be transported to another shed for assembly, so I’m looking for volunteers. Firstly a person with a tow bar, and a group of people to assist in the assembly of the dinghy.
This is to happen this Saturday (May 30th) morning around 0900hrs so please call me on 0414 455 567 if you can assist- I’m waiting by the phone.
