Commodore’s advice to members, Vale Trent Anstee

Predator's Trent Anstee

It is with great sadness I confirm to members that Trent Anstee is lost at sea.

Trent was wonderful character to have around the club. He was a happy, cheeky, caring man who lived his life for sailing.

Predator was his passion and there was rarely a sailing day when he wasn’t out on the catamaran, surrounded by great sailing mates, simply sailing.

Trent will be remembered for so very much by all the club members, past and present.

He was the host of many a visitor wanting to experience sailing. He was the proud representative of his father on the annual Brian Anstee Memorial Race day. He joined in all the social functions, with enthusiasm, taking to dressing up for the occasions with great style and character. He was a friend to many, a drinking mate to all and without a doubt, a true sailor.

Trent will be truly missed by so many, but none more so than this close-knit family. On behalf of all the members, I extend our deepest sympathy to his mother Helen and sister Kelly, and to all his extended family.

Details of a farewell to Trent, once they become available, will be forwarded directly to members.
