South East Queensland (SEQ) Match Racing

Good luck to our THREE youth crews competing at Southport Yacht Club this weekend in the next of three SE QLD Youth Match Racing Championship.

The team members – Frazer Brew, Zach Edwards, Luc Jonkers, James Beveridge, Eamon Kriz, Ryan McVey, Sarah Johnson, Taylor Rogers, Emily McGregor, Jessica Sim and Eloise Jessett.

It’s awesome to see so many of our youth sailors taking on this challenge.

They will be racing in the SYC’s Blazers.

Thank you to our fellow youth clubs (and the parents, of course) for encouraging their young sailors to spend the winter sailing !

Great to see Suzanne Mabbott and Warren Myles volunteer at the event to improve their match racing event management and umpiring skills.

Southport Yacht Club is the venue for the QLD Match Racing Championship to be held June 16 to 18.
