The “Rescheduled Eater Shield 2019” NOR will be published very shortly. All members are encouraged to participate by entering their boat or as crew. If you would like to crew for The Hart Cup, the best and most enjoyable race of the sailing season, and don’t yet have a boat please get in touch with Suzanne Mabbott for a contact. The licence for the MYC clubroom will be extended for Saturday and Sunday so get to the club for a couple of great evenings.
I would also pass on my apologies for not being around for the next 6 weeks. Unfortunately, I will be missing all the fantastic activities above as well as our other scheduled sailing activities. An updated version of the future sailing activities will also be published very soon – this calendar incorporates those postponed events which have been rescheduled.
Amended Sailing Program for 2018/2019 effective 02 April 2019.
Suzanne Mabbott is doing an amazing amount of work behind the scenes as Sailing Administrator as well as her many other tasks. In my absence Suzanne will need even more support with on-water sailing duties for the above events and others. If you can volunteer assistance, please contact Suzanne on the MYC mobile 0413227013.
We will also need skippers sailing on Wednesday’s WAMS to assist with taking passengers. Taking out passengers positively promotes sailing and particularly our club – it is a very worthwhile assistance to our club.
Happy sailing and keep safe.
Mark Coghlan
Rear Commodore of Sailing
