WAMS Sailing Report, July 28

We have been really fortunate for the last few weeks to have had some really great sailing on Wednesday afternoons. The breeze has been fresh and the sailing just fantastic. Yesterday we had 5 boats sailing in perfect fresh conditions.

Congratulations to Bare Necessities for crossing the line first, just 15 seconds ahead of China Blues which took good advantage of the stronger breeze further out. Mtepe came home very quickly on the last leg from the Gneerings coming in third, followed closely by New Tricks. Ocean Warrior came in fifth against some very fast opposition. Thank you to the wonderful crew and passengers on Ocean Warrior recently, we had 10 on board again yesterday – having a great time out there Recent WAMS Shots from Ocean Warrior.

 

I hope we have continuing good sailing conditions – if you haven’t been sailing recently due to the poor weather, sea and bar conditions, I would strongly suggest heading out again to enjoy the winter sailing.
