Women’s Helm Series Race 2

Race 2 of the Women’s Helm Series took place yesterday in beautiful conditions albeit with a fairly light breeze. Seven boats entered: Bare Necessities, Sea Bass, Birdie, Freebooter, Blew Bayou, Ovation & Ocean Warrior. Congratulations to Gaye, Dortje and Lea (and Peter) on Bare Necessities for taking out the double of line honours and winners on handicap. Birdie came in 2nd with Ocean Warrior 3rd but as in race 1, there wasn’t much time separating all the boats.

The crews had a wonderful time back at the clubhouse afterwards. It was a full house!!

Once again, a huge thank you to all our boat owners and their crews for their loyal support of this event.

Race 3 is scheduled for 3 March.
