We have been following and cheering on Mitch Kennedy who is competing in the Laser class at the Sailing World Cup event in Gamagori, Japan. This is the latest news on his racing.

It’s down to the pointy end for the fleet for the top 10 with Medal Race tomorrow.
Mitch Kennedy has just missed out, finishing in 11th overall in the Lasers after finishing 27th in Race 8.

Mitch Kennedy is in 10th overall in the Lasers on Day 4.
Tough day for Mitch. He started with a BFD, but did an awesome job to achieve an 8th and a 4th.

No wind so no racing for Mitch Kennedy and the Laser fleet on Day 3.

Mitch Kennedy is in the Laser fleet and up to 8th overall.
Day 2 was a hugely better day for Mitchell Kennedy.
Light airs of 5 to 6 knots, two races completed.
Four races down, eight to go. His scorecard is (45), 12, 12, 8. 
A typhoon is bearing down on Japan with it due to hit by the weekend.

Mitch Kennedy is in the Laser fleet.
Not a good start with Race 1 finish was 45th – racing in super light air. Second race he finished 12th.
