Amendment to Sailing Instructions – Clause 10.1.

This is a temporary amendment to the 26South Sailing Instructions for the SAMS race this Sunday, 20 September only.

Sign-On  10:30      Duty Club MYC

SAMS start time 11:30      Divisions 1 – 3

Due to possible shallow bar conditions developing during the afternoon (High Tide 1.7m at 10:00; Low Tide 0.2m at 15:30) there will be only one fleet start at 11:30. Sign on from 10:30.

Skippers must always be mindful of possible hazardous bar conditions when deciding to cross the bar.

We plan to lay a buoy on Mark N tomorrow.

Swell forecast to be 1-1.5m. Conditions may be very light early put picking up later.
