Amendment to Sailing Instructions – Clause 10.1.

This is a temporary amendment to the 26South Sailing Instructions for the SAMS race this Sunday, 27 September only.

Sign-On  11:30      Duty Club MYC

SAMS start time 13:00      Divisions 1 – 3

Possible shallow bar conditions developing in late morning / late afternoon (Low Tide 0.4m at 11:00; 0.7m at 13:00; High Tide 1.6m at 17:30) . In order to allow more boats to cross the bar safely the start will be delayed to 13:00.

Skippers must always be mindful of possible hazardous bar conditions when deciding to cross the bar.

We plan to lay a buoy on Mark N tomorrow.

Wind 5-10 knots SW > SE, seas about 1m.
