Membership Categories
MYC offers a number of membership options. You are able to choose the membership that best suits you from the following:
Senior Member:
This category best suits members who wish to fully participate in the sailing program aged over 25 years of age. The fee is $310 and includes Australian Sailing Registration. *See Note below.
Family2 Members:
This category best suits two family members who wish to fully participate in the sailing program aged over 25 years of age. The fee is $525 and includes two Australian Sailing Registration. *See Note below.
FamilyPlus Members:
This category is for a Senior Member and their families including their Partners and children under 18 years of age before the 31st of December of the year of membership application. The fee of $330 includes Australian Sailing Registration for one member only.
Intermediate Member:
This category is for an Intermediate Member aged between 18 – 24 years of age. The fee is $210 and includes Australian Sailing Registration. *See Note below.
Youth Member:
This category is for a Youth Member aged up to 17 years of age. The fee is $95 and includes Australian Sailing Registration. *See Note below.
Social Member:
This category is for Social Member aged over 18 years of age who do not intend to actively participate in sailing activities organised by the Club. The fee is $20 and includes Club member privileges only.
SailPASS – Temporary Member:
This category is for potential sailors who wish to experience sailing. SailPASS membership entitles you to 3 introductory sails @ $20 per SailPASS. This allows you to experience sailing and later if you like the experience, you can become a full member. *See Note below.
Corporate Member:
*These memberships come with Personal Accident Insurance which covers our members whilst sailing or on yacht club premises. More information can be found on the Australian Sailing Website – Individual & Member Insurance
