Hi again.

A mixed weekend with lowering the masts on the Elliott 6’s for compliance for the She Sails Women’s Winter Regatta to be held inshore in Mooloolaba Bay this weekend, but the forecast winds may keep the boats on the river which would make for great viewing.  We’ll see what unfolds.

Also the Brian and Trent Anstee Memorial race with a delayed start of 15 minutes with a trapezium course of Start, Mark A, Gneerings, Island, Mooloolaba Waverider, Gneerings and then to the Finish. Roger Ramjet 1st, Tanu 2nd and Infraction 3rd.  Afterwards, the MYC was humming with presentations and nibbles generously provided by the Anstee family.  Thank you Helen.

It’s that time of the year for membership renewals so get in for the discount.  All things considered, membership is very inexpensive when you consider the infrastructure the MYC supports so please don’t be shy and show your support.

While on the subject of the MYC, elections are due soon and the current executive would like some new blood so if you believe you can help in this community club then ?? Not forgetting the volunteer bar staff.  At present this job is left to a few people and so again. If you believe you can help, much appreciated. !!!
