Hi again all.

Been a bit hectic for the past week. Firstly the Presentation night was a very successful evening with lots of laughs and a quick delivery for the recipients and prize giving. Thank you Graham ‘Scooter’.

The Australian Women’s match racing starts on the 11th October so be at the MYC to witness this first time event. We have previously held an Australian title in match racing .

There is an Australian Youth match racing event being held at CYCA as we speak that is well represented by MYC. James Hodgson is the no 1 to beat with a MYC crew lead by James Beverage with Frazer Brew crewing on a Tasmanian entry having sailed lasers with the skipper. Not a shabby representation from MYC who are just moving forward on their Elliott program.

The outside sailing is a bit quiet at present with boats away and skippers busy. Rum Runners will start up again on the 18th October.

The last 2 Elliott’s are arriving Wednesday afternoon so we need all hands on deck to prepare the boats for the women’s event next weekend.
