Stevo’s Blog – plenty of sailing on at the moment

It’s been a week of sailing with the WAMS, Rum Runners and the SAMS.

The WAMS was held in light conditions with the monohulls walking away from the only multihull in the 8 boat fleet. Ist, Margarita Pearl, 2nd Witchy Woman and 3rd, State of the Ark.

Rum Runners was well supportes as the pics show. Lots of good sailing with a constant breeze blowing down the course. Tied equal 1st, RS and Young Guns.

SAMS had a 5 boat start with a fleet start, off to the waverider buoy, Island and finish. The breeze started off light gradually increasing through the afternoon. Sea Bass was first to the Waverider and the Island finally being passed by Roger Ramjet on the way to the finish. Margarita Pearl was 2nd to the W buoy, then Roger Ramjet, Tanu and Ocean Warrior. With the winds increasing, Roger Ramjet was able to do the double of line honours and the win on handicap. 2nd, Margarita Pearl and Sea Bass 3rd. A great day on the water.

The boats are increasing in numbers so get in early for your ride on a boat.
