It is with deep sadness we report the passing yesterday afternoon of John Cooke.
‘Cookie’ as he was affectionally known by all was a very long-standing member of Mooloolaba Yacht Club who was involved in so many aspects of the club’s growth from the development in the early days of the youth program right through to recent times when he sailed with Rob (Stevo) Stevenson on his catamaran Roger Ramjet.
He will be greatly missed by all.
Our thoughts are with John’s wife Norah, his children and extended family.
