Women’s Regatta is on from today

Head on down to The Wharf this weekend to see exciting sailing on the Mooloolah River.

A pre-regatta practice race is on this afternoon, with the pointscore races on Saturday and Sunday starting from 9.30am.

Seven teams from around the state will be competing in the third annual Mooloolaba Women’s Keelboat Regatta.

There’s bound to be plenty of colour – literally and figuratively – as spinnakers are launched and flown on the challenging short course, and teams compete in the club’s identical Elliott 6 yachts.
